From doing street art, to gallery exhibitions around the globe parallel with years of experience in corporate design in multinational entities in throughout MENA and East Asia and eventually discovering blockchains and AI space and diving head first; strategy, innovation and visual communications have been the fuel for my passion for the past two decades.
I’m blessed with a vast ocean of curiosity which makes me move quickly between disciplines and absorb all kinds of different data, later putting them to use in my creative work:I taught myself Adobe Photoshop when I was 16 and started doing freelance graphic design for small businesses. By night, I was out doing street art. (Friends started calling me The Nightwatcher because I could usually be found perching on a piece of concrete jungle, canvasing the place for an opportunity to take out the spray cans. The nickname stuck and later became my artist pseudonym).
By 18, I was accepted in Tehran's ETC to do a Bachelor’s in Software engineering but dropped out in 2009 and left the country's political turmoil to do a BA in graphic design offered by Nottingham Trent University in Kuala Lumpur. Come 2013, I had a BA with Honours, several art exhibitions and involvement in projects such as the launch of Ralph Lauren's Big Pony Perfumes, T-Shirt design for Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas as well as several other successes freelance design projects plus a stint as an art dealer and gallery manager under my belt. As a result, I was offered the graphic designer role in Marketing Communications Group comprised of some of the biggest global and regional names such as Dentsu and Final Target, with HQs in Dubai, Tehran and Istanbul. And the rest is well... career history.
